Ted Hughes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ted Hughes (Eaton Rapids, Michigan), born in Roanoke, Indiana, who passed away on December 1, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, V. T. Hughes and Princess "Pat" Olive Weist; his brother Wayne Hughes; and his son Christopher W. Hughes. He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Weller (Frank) of Lansing, Michigan; his daughter-in-law Erin Hughes of Syracuse, Indiana; his stepdaughter Jennifer Yates of Tucson, Arizona; his sister-in-law Theresa Hughes of Fort Wayne, Indiana.; and his grandchildren, Caleb Weller of Farmington Hills, Jonah Weller (Marissa) of Troy, Zach Hughes (Chelsea) of Kendallville, Christopher Hughes of Kendallville, Brent Hughes of Kendallville, Mason Christianson of San Diego, Sam Applegate of Port Richey, Florida, Abigail Rezek (Andrew) of Melbourne and Alexis Shuler of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
