He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Baumgart and Leona Baumgart (Boyk); his wife Beth Baumgart (Plews); his son Scott Baumgart; and his brother Dale Baumgart.
He is survived by: his son Kevin Baumgart (Annemarie); his stepdaughters, Carrie and Stacey; his grandchildren, Matt, Nick, Laraia, Trenton, Jordan, Serena and Bredon; and his siblings, Alan Baumgart, Larry Baumgart and Karen Hildreth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
