It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert James Clarke of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on November 29, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clarke and Dorothy Clarke (Towns); his former wife Denise Clarke; his siblings, Carl Clarke and Carol Janousek; and his daughter-in-law Lillian Clarke.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Clarke; his children, Theresa Clarke (Christian Kelleher), John Clarke, Geoffrey Clarke (Amy), Leigh Sprauer (Max), Joseph Clarke (Ruth E.) and Alex Clarke (Erin); his stepchildren, Thomas Hector (Michelle), Andrew Hector (Sarah) and Rebecca Kruth (James); his grandchildren, Antranig Clarke, Elliott Clarke, Lauren Sprauer, Rachel Sprauer, Theodore Sprauer, Frederick Pringle, Lon Pringle, Blythe Clarke, Darius Clarke, Ashlea Hector, Brendon Hector, Katherine Hector, Joshua Hector, Jacob Hector and Violet Hector; his father-in-law Harold Simmons; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Janousek, Jim Lukey, Becky Clarke and Janis Brining (Doug). He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7:30 p.m. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in memory of Bob.
