With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Philip Burns of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Philip Burns to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Burns and Esta Burns (Wigfield); and his siblings, Marge Hartel and Dennis Burns. He is survived by: his wife Faye Burns; his children, Matt Burns (Carrie) and Jennifer Oldham (Brian); his granddaughters, Maryann Burns (Eric Seymour) and Brooke Burns; his siblings, Barbara Basham and David Burns; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Hartel and Janet Burns. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Skinner Funeral Home - Eaton Rapids Chapel (315 S River St, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
