It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula Joyce Nelson (Eaton Rapids, Michigan), born in Sheffield, Alabama, who passed away on March 19, 2018, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Penhorwood and Frances Penhorwood (Crowell); and her sister Sandra Leeper. She is survived by: her husband LeRoy Nelson; her children, Matthew Nelson (Suzalyn), Amanda Canfield (Scott) and Jennifer Nelson (John Yauney); her grandchildren, Chelsea Smith, Dominique Sumerix, Justin Nelson, Evelyn Canfield and Sophia Canfield; and her sisters, Brenda Fransisco, Teresa Johnson (Dave) and Barbara Sutfin (Stacy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
