He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Montie and Zelma Montie (Ross); his former wife Mary; and his siblings, Melvin Montie and Madeline Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Leone Montie; and his children, Michael Montie (Mary), Patrick Montie (Diane), Kathy Church, John Montie (Peggy) and Debra Teachout (Jeff). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
