He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merritt Gillilland and Edith Eva Gillilland; his wife Mary Jo; his children, Deanna Halsey (Rus) of Eaton Rapids, Nancy Goehl (Tom) of Mackinaw, IL, Richard Gillilland (Samantha) of Eaton Rapids and Merritt Gillilland (Carolyn) of Ann Arbor; his grandchildren, Brittany Ruehle (Gavin) of Eaton Rapids, Ryan of Eaton Rapids, Lydia of Eaton Rapids, Collin of Eaton Rapids, Harper Gillilland of Eaton Rapids, Brennan, Connor, Liam Gillilland of Ann Arbor, Andrew Halsey of Eaton Rapids and Andy Goehl; his great grandchildren, Cole Gillilland, Marley, Lennon Ruehle and Alice Nieves; his brother James Louis Gillilland (Janee); and his child Gale. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews; 7 sisters-in-law; 5 brothers-in-law.
