She is survived by: her husband Bert Place; her daughter Tara Barber; her grandchildren, Mauriahn Hall, Marquise Barber (Lyric Gorman) and Terron Lewis; her great grandchildren, Afi, Andre and Jace; and her siblings, Vicki, Angie, Linda and David.
