She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Peters; her daughter Gay Ann Heintzelman; and her siblings, Norma Jones, Bonnie Springs, Athol Wood, Marlene Coffin, Verle Barnard, Robert Bodell, Leonard Bodell, John Bodell, Tom Bodell, Clyde Bodell and Donny Sheets.
She is survived by: her children, Irene Meyer (Greg), Steven Peters (Teresa Wright), Carol Peters, Michael Peters (Julie Reddy) and Joel Heintzelman; her sister Janette Klaiss (Barry Wainman); her grandchildren, Craig Heintzelman, Wendy Whipple (Scott), Barney Meyer, Emily Meyer, Henry Meyer, Edgerton Peters (Monica), Calach Peters (Lindsay), Chris Peters and Andy Peters; and her great grandchildren, Lilly Whipple, Carly Whipple, Rachel Heintzelman, Jerrell Meyer, Nevia Meyer, Victoria Peters, Julian Meyer, Jovani Meyer, Audrianna Meyer, Edgerton Peters and Ivarr Peters. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear family members and friends.
Due to Covid-19 there will be a private family service held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Charlotte VFW Post #2406 in memory of Marilyn.
