He is survived by: his wife Nellie Samson; his children, Kirk Samson Sr., Randy Samson and Debra Saal (Brian) of Eaton Rapids; his grandchildren, Jason Jr, Nicole Jr, Cody Jr, Chad Jr, Kyla Jr, Brad Jr and Kirk Jr; and his great grandchildren, Mitchell, Jameson, Spencer, Theodore, Kolton, Robert, Megan, Bentley and Lilyana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or the Onondaga Fire Department.
