It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine Marie Hoyt of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Pennell and Beverly Pennell (Stockenauer); and her husband Donald Hoyt II. She is survived by: her children, Josie Mackey (Heath) of Hanover, Donald Hoyt III (Jennifer) of Eaton Rapids, Jerry Hoyt of Eaton Rapids and Sandra Sturis of Grand Rapids; her grandchildren, Aaron, Chandler Mackey, Donald IV, Jacob, Allison, Maxton, Tobin Hoyt and Max Sturis; and her sisters, Vickie Gross (Donald) of Lansing and Karen Crawford (John) of Lansing. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
