It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Ann Freed (Eaton Rapids, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Scholtus of Newberry, MI. and Mary Scholtus of Newberry, MI.; her great grandchild Olivia Hulsebos; and her brothers, Robert Scholtus and John Scholtus.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Freed; her sons, Richard Freed, Jr. (Julie), John Freed (Angie), Daniel Freed (Kristin), Marvin Freed (Caryn) and Timothy Freed (Robin); and her siblings, Ronald Scholtus (Debbie), David Scholtus, Paul Scholtus and Patricia Scholtus. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
