Janet Harkness Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Harkness of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 2, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jarious Slentz and Marguerite Slentz (Kendell); and her husband John Harkness. She is survived by: her children, Michael Harkness (Cindy), Bruce Harkness (Katie), Ann Vealey (Jeff) and Kay Harkness; her grandchildren, Daniel Harkness, John Harkness (Elizabeth), Benjamin Harkness, Christine Hwang (Kenny), Angela Lankton (Zach), Derek Harkness (Kate) and Aaron Harkness (Amanda); and her brothers, Jerry Slentz and John Slentz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Congregational Church (300 S Main St, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827).
