He was predeceased by: his parents, James Roy McBride and Elsie Lucille Martin; his father-in-law Douglas Merritt; and his sister Janie. He is survived by: his wife Donna Davis Johnson; his children, Scott (Karen), Megan, Kayla and Haley of Canton, MI; his stepdaughter Brenda Harvey; and his stepgrandchildren, Hannah, Halle and Hattie.
