She was predeceased by: her parents, Eber Miller and Lois Miller (Ashley); her former husband Vergil Harns; her husband Robert Higbie; her grandson Scott Kinney; and her siblings, Margaret Vincent, Gladys Dowding, Ella Brininstool, Madeline Coffey and Robert Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Evelyn Kinney (Larry), Jan Orr (Larry), Mary Kleinert (Tom), David Harns (Esther) and Roger Harns (Sara); and her stepchildren, Sonja Oatley (John Jr.), Claudia Payne (Dwight), Nanette Doxsie, Theresa Treadwell and Sherrel Crawley. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends at Skinner Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids on Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. For those desiring to make memorial contributions they may be made to the Eaton Rapids Church of the Nazarene.
