It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Richard Shimmin (Eaton Rapids, Michigan), born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on October 21, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glyn Shimmin and Florence Shimmin (Gunn); his wife Carol Shimmin (Cosper); and his stepdaughter Cathy Guilford. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Pearson (Brion), Janice Shimmin-Mason and Richard Shimmin (Juliann); his stepson Tim Cosper (Jane); his son-in-law Greg Guilford; his grandchildren, Laura Sportel (Travis), Matthew Pearson (Katelyn), Ian Mason (Emily), Everett Mason (Megan), Alan Shimmin (Natalie), Christopher Shimmin (Katie), Andrew Shimmin and Mariah Cosper; his great grandchildren, Alexis Pearson, Evelyn, Logan Sportel, Adalyn, Kahle Mason and Larry Rogers; his sister Suzanne Litchfield; and his friend Carolyn Gafner.
