He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Oversmith and Geraldine Oversmith (Pearson); and his siblings, Marilyn Oversmith, Lyle Oversmith, Brenda Oversmith and Joey Zemko.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Oversmith (Kristine), Brad Oversmith (Abby) and Zoanna; his grandchildren, Hailey Biancullie (Jerry), Adrianna Oversmith, Joselyn Oversmith, Dillon Oversmith, Domonic Oversmith, Shelby Stewart, Rebecca Blakely (Tyler), RJ Fletcher, Kailey Peckham and Cypiann Fletcher; his great grandchild Ruby Biancullie; his stepmother Delores Oversmith; and his sisters, Blanch Prince (Dean), Mary Lou Korroly (Richard Basset) and Anne Zemko. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the VFW Post 6132 (3104 W St Joseph Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917).
In honor of Butch, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House.
