She was predeceased by: her parents, George McGlinchey and Ida McGlinchey (Seigel); her husband Robert Groom; her grandson Geoffrey Nicols; her sisters, Virginia (Bill Melzow) and Mott (Beth Groom); and her parents-in-law, Ila and Ward Groom.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Groom (Rhonda), Tom Groom (Vicki), Marilyn Mays, Brian Groom (Erin) and Laura Nicols; her grandchildren, Aimee Bowles, Pat Groom (Barb), Sean Groom, Shannon Jones, Brenna Fulcher (Brad), Caitlin Groom, Thomas Groom (Kristin) and Hannah Nicols; and her great grandchildren, Will, Jordan, Sam, Claire, Monroe, Maizey, Madison, Isabelle, Sydney, Moriah, Braden and Clayton.
