It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Edward Melton (Eaton Rapids, Michigan), born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on September 20, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Laurel Melton. He is survived by: his sister Emma Melton (Bonham); his children, Linda Murphy (Patrick) and Charles Melton (Trudy); his grandchildren, Amy Murphy, Matthew Murphy (Chrystal), Gloria Alhasanawi (Hakim) and Steven Melton (Christa); and his great grandchildren, Slater Murphy, Caleb Murphy, Deegan Murphy, Derek Stultz and Laurel Melton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family askes that memorial contributions may be made to the Eaton Rapids Senior Center in memory of Ernest.
