He was predeceased by: his father Herbert Shaw; and his sister Sandra Byrd. He is survived by: his mother Arlene Shaw (Smith); his wife Susan Shaw; his children, Jessica Shaw and Ryan Shaw (Melissa); his grandchildren, Ethan Morales, Sophia Morales, Micah Gaston, Greyson Gaston, Isabella Gaston, Grace Shaw and Thomas Shaw; his siblings, Richard "Dick" Shaw (Barb) and Diane Gee (Neal); and his brother-in-law Mike Byrd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
