With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Ebert of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on July 26, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Proffer and Elizabeth Proffer (Marks); her sister Ruth Warry; and her son Dustin Ebert. She is survived by: her husband Lanny Ebert; her sons, Benjamin Vannest and Gary Vannest (Neo); her siblings, Ron Proffer (Carol), Roger Proffer (Linda), Jeff Proffer (Kaye), Bob Proffer (Joyce), Jim Proffer, John Proffer (Charlotte), Lester Proffer (Altagracia), Janet Reith and Donna Ogle (Jack); her grandchildren, Diane Potso Vannest and Jaymes Ebert-Nicholson; and her great grandchild Bryan Ebert. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
