Donald Schultz Obituary
Passed away June 20, 2019 at the age of 71 due to Agent Orange poisoning. Don was born in Lansing, Michigan on May 22, 1948 , the son of Frederick and Hazel (Nielsen) Schultz. He graduated from Everett High School in 1966 and enlisted in the US Army from 1966-1968 as a Staff Sargent, Combat Veteran Vietnam 11 Field Forces 2-32 Field Artillery A Battery.
Don was an accomplished sculptor and artist. He was instrumental in local projects such as the "Wind Lord" at Lansing's Adado Riverfront Park, "Aqueous" at the School For The Blind, and "UKOR" the dragon at Impressions Five Museum. Don was a model maker by trade, working on the Space Shuttle and the F-117 aircraft at Northrup International Air Force Base, ending his career at Pratt and Whitney on aircraft test equipment.
Don is survived by his wife Marcia; 5 children, Cindy, Shelly, Scott, Adam and Atira; 3 stepchildren, Chad, Aaron, Amanda; 23 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Carol Harwood and Barb Huffman. Graveside services are pending for a later date.
