He was predeceased by: his parents, August Balzer and Elsie Balzer (Lyons); and his sister-in-law Carolyn "Rabbit" Balzer. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Balzer; his son William Balzer (Jessica) of Lansing; his grandchildren, Veronica, Ray and William Jr.; his brother George Balzer; his nieces, Doty and Tracie; and his pet Bear.
