He is survived by: his children, Theresa Backus (Carl), Kathy Reef, Christopher Chappel, Jordan Chappel and Evon Chappel; his grandchildren, Jenny Patsey (Scott), Heather Fernandez (Mike), April Boland (Robert), Michael Chappel (Nikcol), Brian Backus, Kevin Backus (Brandi), Greg Backus (Elise), Mark Backus (Missy), William Backus, Bobby Woods (Ashley), Laurie Woods, Tammy Ward (Jason), Randy Jenkins, David Secord (Alicia), Nathan Secord, Crystal Ryan (Whitney) and Justin Chappel; and his siblings, Blaine Chappel, Phyllis Bembeneck and Nancy Yanski. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
