He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Steele and Mary Steele (Bollman); his daughter Tina Steele; and his brothers, Gordon Steele and Allen Steele.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Steele (Gutierrez); his sons, Nathan Steele and Thomas Steele (Veronica); his grandchild Versavene of Jordan, T. J.; and his siblings, Vickie Strader and Bill Steele (Betty). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
