He was predeceased by: his mother Susan Courtnage; and his father-in-law Randy McHaney. He is survived by: his father Jerald Stipanuk; his wife Jesica Stipanuk (McNamara); his sons, Ethan McNamara, Ezra McNamara and Eli McNamara; his brother Brian Stipanuk; and his pets, Splinter and Montey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence in honor of Chris.
