It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alonzo E. Hoag (Eaton Rapids, Michigan), born in Springport, Michigan, who passed away on May 23, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hoag and Velma Hoag (Myers); and his brothers, Carl, John, Wayne, Dick and Bill Hoag.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Hoag (Cushman); his daughters, Carol Geisen (Richard) and Penny Howard (Randy); his grandsons, Wade, Wyatt Howard, Robert Geisen and James Geisen (Niki); his great grandchildren, Shelbey, Bailey Geisen, Gracyn Beardsley, Nevan and Avery Geisen; his great great grandchild Cooper Beardsley; and his brother Jerry Hoag (Kay). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the church starting at 10:00 A.M. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church in memory of Gene.
