She was predeceased by: her parents, Ransom Slusher and Thelma Slusher (Daughtery); her husband John Chapin; her son Anthony Chapin; her grandson Trevor; her siblings, Doris, Mary Jane, Anna, William, Ken and Richard; and her siblings-in-law, Betty, Edna, Sue, Ray and Lee.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Chapin (Yasmin) of Ionia and Cindy Hoisington (Kirk) of Eastport; her daughter-in-law Kathy Chapin of Stanton; her grandchildren, Seth Chapin (Angela), Matthew Chapin (Wanita), Jesse Chapin (Josie), Andrew Hoisington (Katie), Tyler Rowland (Rae Ann Zachow), York Hoisington (Katie Bennett), Jordan Chapin (Sarah), Lauren Taylor (Anthony), Clayton Gretzner (Morgan Bradford) and Alaina Gretzner (Harley Harris); her great grandchildren, Evan, Logan, Travis, Ayden, Lilyann, Aubrey, Ian, Kendall, David, Callen and Walter; her great great grandchild Trevor; her siblings, Phyllis Krause (Max), Nancy Campbell, Dan Slusher, Tom Slusher (Sara Lee) and John Slusher (Marcia); and her siblings-in-law, Wendy Slusher and Steve Chapin (Marilyn).
