It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera Lois Wainwright of East Tawas, Michigan, born in Tawas City, Michigan, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Rapp and Hattie Rapp (Allen); her daughter Dawn Housey (Gregg) of Mackinac Island; and her granddaughter Kristen Hackborn. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Wainwright of Tawas City; and her children, Tari Hackborn of East Tawas, Mark Wainwright (Sue) of Tawas City, Kelly Rayment (Terry) of Mackinac Island, Jill Wainwright (Jack) of Grand Blanc and Shannon Loeffler (Rod) of Tawas City. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; countless nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
