He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Klenow and Grace C. Klenow (Merschel); his son Doug Klenow; his stepfather Harry Pelton; his siblings, Tim Klenow and Lynn Cholger; and his parents-in-law, Earl Hester and Nettie Hester.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Klenow; his sons, David Klenow (Kelley) of Leland, NC and Dennis Klenow (Pam) of Clarkston, MI; his brother Chuck Klenow (Kay) of East Tawas, MI; his grandchildren, Tyler, Brooke, Nolan, Drew, Adam, Jack, Eric, Jenna and Amanda; his great grandchildren, Noel, Jamarree, Xzavior and Devanghn; his sisters, Ruth Peterson (Edgar) of Manistee, MI and Carol Davey (Jay) of Lakeland, FL; and his sister-in-law Pat Klenow of Norway, MI. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
