He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fairbanks and Willmetta Fairbanks (Goheen); and his brother Phillip Fairbanks. He is survived by: his wife Karen Fairbanks; his stepson Jason Flowers; his brothers, Paul Fairbanks (Marianne) of Tawas City, Dennis Fairbanks (Karen) of Harrison and James Fairbanks (Nipa) of National City; his grandchildren, Sean and Aaliyah; and his mother-in-law Barbara Belcher. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
