Joanne Marie Roy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Marie Roy of East Tawas, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Meyers and Betty Meyers (Simko); her husband Louis Roy; her children, Richard Roy, Jon Roy and Mary Roy; her sisters, Audrey Damore (Sam) and Donna Childs; and her brother-in-law Norman Fortune.

She is survived by: her children, Louis Roy (Judy), Kim McPherson, Doris Hayes, David Roy (Monica), Trish Baraghoush (Dale Smith), Suzette Glasgow (Robert) and Walter Roy; and her sisters, Delores Fortune and Barbara Smith (Larry). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
