Jan Austin Cortright Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2021, at the age of 85, Jan Austin Cortright of East Tawas, Michigan, born in Laingsburg, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Cortright and Persis Cortright (Austin); his wife Jacqueline A. Cortright; and his brother Jonathan Cortright. He is survived by: his daughters, Janette Doucette (John), Jeanne Utterback (Rob) and Debbie Eaton (Jack); his stepsons, Jim Wilkerson (Coco) and Scott Wilkerson (Karen); and his sisters, Lois Hawk and Margaret Lietzke (Steve). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and dozens of dear friends.

A cremation has taken place, and, due to the current pandemic, the family has elected to not have a service at this time; however, the family instead requests that everybody get vaccinated and stay safe and healthy.
