He was predeceased by: his father Frederick W. Rath. He is survived by: his mother Linda B. Rath (DeYoung) of East Tawas; his siblings, Sally Garrett (Wade Snyder) of East Tawas and Damon Rath (Leona) of Newport News, Virginia; his nephews, Ty Garrett (Melissa), Cantrell Rath and Dylan Rath; his niece Amanda Shawn (Nathan); his great-nephews, Dacoda Shawn (Hannah), Lukas, Gavin Shawn and Morgan Garrett (Carrie); his great-niece Riley Garrett; and also, Lillian and Magnolia Shawn. He is also survived by his family and many dear friends.
