It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice L. Metcalf of East Tawas, Michigan, born in Turner, Michigan, who passed away on March 13, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Melbourne Aussie Metcalf; and her siblings, Irma Nichols (Cecil), Rose Koysh (Joseph), Esther Woodward (Floster), Freidalene Ott (Adolph), Hilda Sass (Emil), Adaline Ridenour (Leonard), Clarence Dewald (Phyllis), Catherine Nitschke (Harold) and Jacob Dewald (Arlene).
She is survived by: her parents, Jacob Dewald and Emilie Dewald; her children, Sheryl Metcalf of Grand Rapids, Richard Metcalf (Susan) of Okemos and Janet Greenwood (Daniel) of Midland; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Ryan Metcalf, Jeremiah, Joshua and Jeffrey Greenwood.
