He is survived by: his parent Frank Nelkie; his children, Gayle Staweke of East Tawas, Doyle Nelkie (Karen) of East Tawas, Lynn Westcott (James) of East Tawas, Jane Bailey of Niceville and Alan Nelkie (Val) of East Tawas, Michigan; his grandchildren, Kevin Staweke, Jennifer Michalski, Andy Nelkie (Angela), Carrie Johnson (Corey), Aimee Jensen, Michael Bailey, Adam Nelkie (Melissa) and David Bailey; his great grandchildren, Brendan Nelkie, Kylia Nelkie, Julia Nelkie, Hunter Nelkie, Isiah Nelkie, Mason Michalski, Ryder Michalski, Jeremiah "Bud" Nelkie, Caylee Johnson, Ethan Nelkie, Max Nelkie, Cambree Johnson, Hollan Nelkie, Madilynn Shaffer and Amelia Nelkie; and his pet Mindy Lou.
