He was predeceased by: his parent DeMaris Childs (Ostrander). He is survived by: his adoptive father James Childs; his wife Crystal Childs; his children, Courtney Childs of Battle Creek, Ashley Childs of Battle Creek, Stephen Childs of East Leroy, Daniel Childs of Battle Creek and Christopher Childs of East Leroy; his siblings, Ken Childs (Melanie) of Lansing, David Childs (Linda) of Beckley, Connie Hayden (Jack) of South Bend, IN and Shannon Guerrero (Auggie) of Auburn, CA; his grandson Matthew Childs of Mishawaka, IN; and his parents-in-law, Elizabeth Thompson of Howell and John Tongusi, Sr. of Brighton.
