Joseph William Evankovich Sr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2024, at the age of 90, Joseph William Evankovich Sr. of East Leroy, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joseph William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Evankovich and Mary Evankovich (Vulji); his wife Beverly Irene Moyer; his stepson Amon "Dwayne" Smith II; and his sister Theresa Savio.

He is survived by: his children, Joseph Evankovich, Jr. of Battle Creek, Valerie Morgan (Doug) of Battle Creek, John Evankovich (Shelley) of Battle Creek, Daniel Smith of Dowling and Karen Smith of Battle Creek. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren and even more great-grandchildren.
