She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Horton and Carrie Horton (Thompson); and her children, Kathleen E. Baird and David Russell McPherson. She is survived by: her son Philip Dale McPherson (Brenda) of Battle Creek; her sister Joan Miller; her grandchildren, Melissa McPherson, Jill Wise (Scott), Melanie DeKruyter (John), Jennifer Porter (Chad), Scott Baird (Mandy), Jon Baird (Melanie), Christina Cushard, Sarah Monarca and Elizabeth Bell; and her husband Phil. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care (105 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
