She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Gilbert and Eva Gilbert (Cutchall); her son Barton Gilbert Rarick; her grandson Jarred Rarick; and her brothers, Cletus and Douglas Gilbert.
She is survived by: her children, Charles "Alan" Rarick (Lynn) of South Haven, Rodney Rarick of East Leroy, Tonya Rarick of Athens, Janet Gilbert of Coldwater and Thera Gilbert of Union City; her grandchildren, Holly Ash (Don), Ryan Rarick (Rebekah), Andrew Rarick and Jamal Rarick; her great grandchildren, Sarah Hanson, Caitlin Ash, Steven Follett and David Rarick; her great great grandchild Emery Bunn; and her nieces, Jeanine Miller, Debbie Richar and Dorcas Roberts. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
