She was predeceased by: her siblings, Bartholomew "Bart" Chester Thiessen and Connie Lynn Thiessen Schoonard; and her father Chester "Chet" Thiessen. She is survived by: her mother Donna Wemple Thiessen; her sisters, Karen L. Rounds, Mary L. Sheerer (Terry), Terese L. Koski (Brian) and Maria A. Tolf; and her brother-in-law Timothy L. Schoonard. She is also survived by thirty-one nieces and nephews; nineteen great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Knights of Columbus, Father Owens Council #11114. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Philip Roman Catholic Church or given at the funeral home for delivery to the council.
