With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Alice Butten of East Lansing, Michigan, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on July 31, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hamilton and Beatrice Hamilton (Piatt); her husband Robert E. Butten; her brother Ward Hamilton; and her friends, Nancy Plummer, George Plummer, Jr., James Zimmerman and William "Ned" Ruggles.
She is survived by: her friends, Sandy Russell (Bill) of Mason, Mary Plummer of Williamston, Chris Zimmerman of White Lake, Linda Geister (Gary) of Hillman, Barbara Howard (Joe) of Marlette and David Plummer (Vicky) of Gaylord.
