He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nicholas and Emily Sarah LaFleur (Barrett); his sister Elizabeth "Betty" (Harold); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Hallenbeck and Nancy Schrauben.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Schrauben; his daughter Janean Karpus (Mark) of Mattoon; his grandsons, Anthony, Benjamin and Andrew; his daughter Janette Guile (Kevin) of Fenton; his granddaughters, Megan and Victoria; his daughter Janell Henderson of Nampa; his grandchild Shelby Coltson (Joe); his great grandchildren, Theodore and Oliver; his grandchildren, Frank, Lydia Garner (Curtis) and Kylie; and his sisters, Ann Hallenbeck and Pat Lezovich (Bob). He is also survived by sisters/brothers in-law; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to local Food Banks, Sparrow Hospice, or the donor's choice.
