George S. Nugent Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2025, at the age of 90, George S. Nugent of East Lansing, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stephen Nugent and Christine Louise Nugent (Bauch); and his sister Linda Louise Harrold. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Patricia Nugent (Kelly); his children, Stephen William, Kelly Jo and Christopher George (Laura); and his grandchildren, Ashley Victoria (Stephanie), Andrew Christopher, Caroline Laura, Patrick James, Connor Paul and Josina Margaret Nugent. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (218 W Ottawa St, Lansing, MI 48933). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church (https://stpaulslansing.org), or Capital Region Community Foundation in memory of George Nugent.
