He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward Grafius and Helen Marie Grafius (Peterson); and his daughter Kristin Joy Grafius. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Kay Grafius (Baumgartner); his sister Joan Marie Cooper (late Kirby Alan Cooper); his sons, Brandon Reece Grafius (Kate Elizabeth Simon) and Darren Robert Grafius (Iain Stuart Mason); and his grandchildren, Fenton and Reece Grafius.
In lieu of flowers, family asks for donations to be made in Ed's name to either the MSU Department of Entomology or Edgewood United Church.
