He is survived by: his stepchildren, Jessica Slaven and Ian Slaven (Kim); his granddaughter Sydney; and his siblings, Charles Murphy of Alma, MI, Patrick Murphy of Lansing, MI, James Murphy (Gerard Markesse) of Rockaway, NJ, Mary Schafer (Gary) of Bath, MI, Claire Kzeski of Charlotte, MI and Margaret Murphy of Lansing, MI. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews.
