She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Phillip and Shirley Jean Bowers (Hammontree); and her daughter Michele Thorman. She is survived by: her husband Kurtis R. Nichols of East Jordan; her daughters, Cheltzi Wilson (Denzil) of East Jordan, Brieann Carey (Brad) of East Jordan and Rebecca Brusse (Paul) of East Jordan; her grandchildren, Avary Wilson, Brady Wilson, Blake Carey, Dawson Carey, Easton Carey, Jayden Brusse, Koltyn Brusse, Lillie Brusse and Jaylyn Brusse; and her sisters, Donna Huryk (Greg) of Muskegon, Brenda K. Malpass (Tracy) of East Jordan and Diane "Dee" Hawley (Robert) of East Jordan. She is also survived by eight nieces; and three nephews.
