She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Cornstalk and Esther Cornstalk (Wasagesic); her husband Nelson Denemy; her children, John, Larry and Crab Denemy; and her siblings, Tom, Jr., Harvey, Frank and Louise.

She is survived by: her daughter Darlene Guthrie of East Jordan; and her sisters, Alvina Napont (Melvin) of East Jordan, Helen Paul of East Jordan and Irene Mitchell (Mike) of East Jordan. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
