It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Sumner of East Jordan, Michigan, born in Boyne City, Michigan, who passed away on November 28, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philo Sumner and Beatrice Sumner (Bess); his siblings, Leroy Sumner, Thomas Sumner and Gaylee Anderson; and his nephew Edward Sumner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Randy Sumner (Pam) of Orlando, FL, Roxanne Bascom of Manton and Darlene Braun of Austin, TX; his sisters-in-law, Pat Sumner of Petoskey and Judy Sumner of Charlevoix; his daughter Cindy Sumner of East Jordan; and his grandsons, Sam Snowden (Nicole) and Greg Snowden (Heather). He is also survived by great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
