It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nelson James McDonald of East Jordan, Michigan, born in Petoskey, Michigan, who passed away on October 10, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm "Mack" McDonald and Beverly B. McDonald (Bennett); and his sister Marene B. McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Regina H. McDonald of East Jordan; his children, Norah Rawley (David) of Hendersonville and Neil McDonald of East Jordan; his stepchildren, Kathy Wray (Mike) of East Jordan, Krista Reid of Warner Robins and Kevin Paul of Boyne City; his siblings, Daniel McDonald (Nancy) of Marshall and Karen Cramer (David) of Boyne City; and his close friend Gary Albring. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
